1. Communicate with the Artist
The first step is to reach out to the artist directly. Clearly explain what aspects of the work you are not satisfied with, and provide any feedback that can help them understand your concerns. Many issues can be resolved with open communication and a willingness to revise the work.
2. Request Revisions
Most artists are open to making revisions to ensure you are happy with the final result. When discussing your concerns, be specific about what changes you’d like to see. This might include adjusting details, colors, style, or other aspects of the commission. Ensure that you and the artist are on the same page regarding expectations for the revisions.
3. Review the Commission Agreement
Before escalating the issue, review the Terms of Service that you agreed to prior to submitting your request. This can help clarify any terms regarding revisions, delivery expectations, and what was agreed upon for the final product. If your dissatisfaction stems from something outside the original agreement, communicate this with the artist as well.
4. Resolve Through Dispute Process

This will depend on the specifics of the situation, including whether the artist has completed the commission to your satisfaction and within the agreed timeframe.
