We understand how stressful it can feel when a creator goes quiet after you’ve already paid. Commissions.gg has protections in place to help handle these situations fairly for both sides.
If the commission hasn’t hit its estimated delivery date yet, the creator may still be working. Some creators work closer to the deadline and don’t always send frequent updates. That said, if the deadline has passed and they haven’t shared any progress or asked for more time, you can start a cancellation.
To request a cancellation and refund, go to the commission page and use the cancellation option there. The creator will have a chance to respond or resolve things, but if they don’t reply within a set timeframe, the commission may be automatically canceled and your payment refunded.
To reduce the chances of this happening in the future, it helps to look at a few things before you order: check the creator’s reviews, see how many commissions they’ve completed, and look for signals like the Speedy Responder badge, which shows they usually reply quickly on average.
If you’re worried about your commission, email hello@commissions.gg with the commission details. Our support team can look into the situation and help you figure out the best next step!
