At Commissions.gg, we want to ensure that you have a smooth and flexible experience when commissioning artists. We understand that plans can change, so we offer two points at which you can cancel or adjust your commission.
1. Cancelling Before the Creator Accepts Your Commission
Once you place an order, the commission is not finalized until the creator accepts it. If you change your mind before the creator accepts, you can cancel the commission without any issues. This is the easiest and fastest way to stop the process before it begins.
2. Cancelling After the Creator Accepts and Sends a Proposal
If the creator has already accepted your commission and sent a proposal, you can still decline the proposal to cancel the commission. After the creator sends a proposal, you will have the option to review it. If the terms aren’t quite right or you decide not to move forward, simply decline the proposal. This will cancel the commission and stop any further actions from being taken.
Please note that once a proposal is accepted and the commission has begun, the cancellation process may be more complex, and refunds may not be applicable unless under specific circumstances (e.g., the creator fails to deliver). If you have already paid, the cancellation is at the discretion of the creator and their Terms of Service. Always make sure to review the proposal carefully before accepting it to avoid complications.
