We are an online marketplace for creative professionals and their related digital offerings (artwork, illustrations, graphic design, and more). Clients can purchase custom commission work from creators, and creators can manage listings, project communication, and related offerings through the platform.
Our goal is to keep things simple and fair for creators, starting with our Star Creator membership. Star Creator is our site-wide membership program that gives you extra perks and promo tools to help you grow your business. It also helps keep the platform sustainable so we can keep building new features and improving things for everyone.
We take 0% from commissions. When clients hire you for custom work, neither you nor the client pays platform fees on that commission. (Please note: payment processing fees (Paypal, Stripe) still need to be paid)
To cover the costs of running and improving Commissions.gg, we charge a small 5% fee to clients when they buy shop listings or membership tiers. This helps pay for things like hosting, customer support, and ongoing development. Even here, you still keep 100% of your profits.
What are Shop and Memberships?
Shop sales include digital goods or digital creative services. For example, selling a non-exclusive illustration in a PNG file.
Memberships are a monthly subscription that your clients can optionally subscribe to. You can decide the perks, as long as it fits within our Terms of Service. The perks can be things like: commission discounts, shop discounts, receiving a monthly sketch, etc.
To keep it clear:
- Commissions have 0% fees. Both clients and creators pay nothing.
- A 5% fee applies only to shop and membership purchases, and the client pays it.
- We have an optional Star Creator membership that gives creators extra perks.
- Payment processing fees still apply and are unavoidable (PayPal/Stripe)
This setup lets creators keep all of their earnings, while still supporting the platform behind the scenes. We want Commissions.gg to be a creator‑first space, where you can earn a living from your work and spend most of your energy on what you actually love doing: creating!
