Our goal is to support artistic freedom while still following the rules of our payment providers (PayPal and Stripe) and keeping the platform safe for everyone. We'll do our best to explain which content is allowed:
Allowed NSFW Content
We do allow some NSFW and mature content, as long as it stays within these boundaries:
- Artistic nudity: Tasteful depictions of nudity i.e. lewd drawings, paintings, and illustrations that are focused on form rather than explicit sexual acts.
- Pin-up and suggestive art: Flirty or provocative poses that do not show explicit sexual activity or extreme fetishes
- Mature themes: Dark or mature subjects such as gothic, horror, or mild fantasy violence, as long as they do not include extreme gore or other banned content listed below
Restricted and prohibited content
To comply with PayPal and Stripe and to keep the community safe, the following content is not allowed on the platform:
- Explicit sexual content: Any real or illustrated sexual acts, pornography, or extreme fetish material.
- Non-consensual themes: Any depiction (even implied) of assault, non-consensual acts, or exploitation.
- Underage, loli, or shota content: Any sexualized or suggestive depiction of minors, whether real, stylized, or fictional.
- Extreme gore and violence: Graphic depictions of mutilation, excessive gore, or content that glorifies real-world harm.
- Bestiality and non-human erotica: Sexual acts involving animals or non-human creatures
- Incest and dubious consent: Sexual content involving family members, or situations where consent is unclear or coerced
- Sexually exploitative content: Any material involving trafficking, coercion, or other forms of sexual exploitation.
Payment processor compliance
Because we process payments through PayPal and Stripe, some types of content also cannot be tied to transactions on the platform. This means we cannot process payments for:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content.
- Services or commissions that involve explicit adult content.
- Any content that sexualizes minors, whether real or fictional.
Violations can lead to payment holds, account suspension, or permanent removal from Commissions.gg.
Enforcement and reporting
To keep things safe and clear:
- Creators must tag NSFW content correctly. Unmarked NSFW content may be removed, and repeated issues can lead to account restrictions.
- Users can report content they believe breaks these rules. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action when needed.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates the spirit of this policy, even if it’s not called out line by line.
