If a client accepts your proposal and then stops responding, don’t worry - the system is designed to protect you in these situations. Here's what happens:
——
Complete the Commission as Agreed
If the client stops responding after accepting your proposal, you should still proceed with the commission as agreed in the proposal. Make sure to follow the details outlined in the request and communicate any updates through the platform.
Once you’ve completed the work, you can mark the commission as complete. If the client remains unresponsive and doesn't mark it as complete on their end, the system will automatically release the funds after 15 days.
——
In Case of Disputes
If the client resurfaces and raises any disputes after you’ve completed the work, you can provide evidence of your progress and completion through the commission updates. The support team will review the case and assist in resolving any issues.
——
Protect Yourself by Setting Clear Terms
To avoid misunderstandings, make sure your terms of service (TOS) are clear and cover all key aspects of the commission, including revision limits, deadlines, and how disputes will be handled.
Even if a client becomes unresponsive, the escrow system ensures that your time and effort are protected, and you’ll still receive payment for the work you’ve completed.
